The multi-server architecture of tdist™ not only enables load balancing over several machines and appropriate routing of identical or different types of data sets, but also integration of a high-availability solution for market data access. Each multi-threaded server instance can process a configurable number of user requests very efficiently in parallel. tdist™ avoids additional expenses, for example on updates of market data provider’s systems, on provider changes, or replacement of trading applications, by decoupling internal systems from those of external providers.
